Introduction

This document sets out the terms and conditions upon which Stories Without Shame Ltd shall provide coaching and hypnotherapy services. By using Stories Without Shame Ltd coaching and hypnotherapy services, you (“Client”) are confirming that you have carefully read, understand and agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions form the “Agreement” between the Client and Stories Without Shame Ltd.

I reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. The new version will be posted on this website and will take effect immediately upon posting. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you should not use my coaching and hypnotherapy services.  

About me

Dr Connie Kerali a certified coach and clinical hypnotherapist registered with the National Council for Hypnotherapy (credentials available upon request). Dr Connie Kerali operates under a limited company which is Stories Without Shame Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales under company number 13571307.  

Coaching and Hypnotherapy Services

1.     Dr Connie Kerali agrees to provide professional coaching and clinical hypnotherapy services in accordance with acquired training and experience.

2.     Dr Connie Kerali’s work is Client-centred. Services provided utilise coaching techniques, induction of hypnosis, and methods and principles used to help Clients discover their inner creative abilities to develop positive thinking and feeling and to transform undesirable habits and behaviour patterns. Therapeutic goals are to achieve freedom from restrictive thought and belief systems, to assist in solving personal problems, developing motivation, and achieving goals.

3.     Client may be taught the use of self-hypnotic techniques to assist in achieving goals and resolving issues that have been mutually agreed upon by the Client and Dr Connie Kerali.

4.     The Client understands and accepts that hypnotherapy carries the risk of uncovering unpleasant memories, which could cause intense emotional discomfort.

5.     The Client agrees that they will not record (audio or visual) their coaching and hypnotherapy session with Dr Connie Kerali.

6.     Dr Connie Kerali is in no way offering a cure for any health conditions.

7.     Whilst Dr Connie Kerali is a UK registered medical doctor with a license to practice (General Medical Council registration number 6163353), the service being offered is in Dr Connie Kerali’s role as a certified coach and clinical hypnotherapist. Therefore, it should not be considered as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You are still responsible for seeking medical help or continuing with your healthcare professional’s advice and treatment. Coaching and hypnotherapy are not a replacement for medical treatment, psychological services, or counselling.      

Client Requirements

8.     You are aged 18 years or over.

9.     You agree to provide truthful booking information on FEA Create. You accept that Stories Without Shame Ltd is not responsible for the privacy and security of any third parties.

10.   You consent to having coaching and hypnotherapy sessions conducted by Stories Without Shame Ltd online via Zoom. You accept that you are responsible for keeping your Zoom link connection details secure and accept that we are not liable if you fail to comply with this.

11.   You are responsible for ensuring that you have all the necessary technology, including a good internet connection and a charged device that can receive a video call.

12.   The Client understands that they are personally responsible for monitoring their own environment for any distractions which may adversely affect the outcome of the sessions such as phones and other devices, other activities occurring at the same time and other individuals who may be present.

13.   The Client understands and agrees that their one-to-one session is personal in nature, and they will not allow other individuals to participate in or attend the session without the specific permission of Dr Connie Kerali, for example, group coaching and hypnotherapy sessions.

14.   Dr Connie Kerali is currently unable to offer hypnotherapy for those who currently suffer from, have a history of, or who have been diagnosed with:

a.      a Personality Disorder

b.     Schizophrenia, Psychosis or Delusional symptoms

c.      Epilepsy or seizures

15.   The Client agrees to be free from drugs or alcohol during their session.

16.   The Client agrees to arrive on time and the session ends one hour from the booked start time. Dr Connie Kerali reserves the right to cancel the session without providing you with a refund if you arrive 10 minutes or more, late for the session.

17.   Results of coaching and hypnotherapy vary from person to person, and therefore Dr Connie Kerali cannot guarantee you a particular outcome or result and by booking a package, you accept this. You will not be entitled to a refund for any sessions that have already taken place.

18.   Please be aware that coaching and hypnotherapy sessions are not a substitute for professional medical care by a qualified doctor or other health care professional. Always check with your doctor if you have any concerns about a condition you may have or treatment.

19.   Please note that coaching and hypnotherapy is not intended to replace allopathic and conventional medical treatment and care, nor is it intended to replace formal diagnosis and treatment by your medical practitioner. 

20.  The Client accepts and understands that the Client’s thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and behaviours always remain within the Client’s control. No Client is “made” to do anything against their will using hypnosis.  

21.   Unacceptable Client behaviour will not be tolerated, and Dr Connie Kerali reserves the right to cancel any session should this occur without a refund.  

22. Dr Connie Kerali reserves the right to cancel any appointment with a Client who does not abide by the eligibility requirements.            

Confidentiality

23.   Dr Connie Kerali will keep the information that you provide confidential and will never disclose anything you share to a third party without your explicit consent. As is good practice in coaching and hypnotherapy, Dr Connie Kerali undertakes supervision. I may discuss any issues which arise out of our sessions with my own supervisor but in doing so, the scenarios and conversations around them will be anonymised, so that they contain no identifying information.

24.   There are exceptions, where I will need to disclose certain confidential
information to the relevant third party including:                                     

a.     If I consider you pose a threat to yourself or others;                                     

b.     If you raise a concern relating to safeguarding/child protection issues; or

c.     If I am obliged to disclose your confidential information for a legal court case.

Coaching & Hypnotherapy Cancellations, Refunds, Fees and Rescheduling

25.   The Client must pay the full price of the package on booking the appointment using the Stripe application. By completing the payment, the Client accepts the terms and conditions and privacy policy of Stripe. You accept that Stories Without Shame Ltd is not responsible for the privacy and security of any third parties.

26.   The Client can cancel their package and receive a refund, minus a a 5% administrative fee, up to 48 hours before their first session. Please allow up to 10 working days to receive a refund back on to the card that made the original purchase.

27.   The Client accepts that no refund is given within 48 hours of the first appointment.

28.   The Client can, subject to availability, reschedule an appointment 48 hours or more before the session by contacting [email protected]. No changes are possible within 48 hours of your appointment.

29.   The Client accepts that they are committing to the appointment time agreed upon with Dr Connie Kerali.

30.   The Client accepts that excessive cancellations, rescheduling, and or refund requests will not be accepted. Refunds will not be given to any one customer for a coaching and hypnotherapy package or group session more than once. A customer can cancel or reschedule within the permitted timeframe no more than one time. After this, if you are unable to attend your rescheduled appointment, no further changes can be made, and no refund is offered.

31.   In exceptional circumstances Dr Connie Kerali reserves the right to cancel a booked session and you are entitled to reschedule it or request a full refund. Stories Without Shame Ltd can accept no liability for any wider financial or other consequences of a cancellation under exceptional circumstances.

32.   Dr Connie Kerali reserves the right to change my fees at any time, but this will not affect any existing booked session(s).

33.   Your data is held will be held in line with the requirements of the UK General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. For further information please see the Privacy Policy.   


Digital Products

34. By accessing or purchasing our digital products, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions as well as our Privacy Policy, which complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You must indicate your agreement to these terms by checking the appropriate box before purchasing or downloading any products.

35. The digital products available for purchase or free download from Stories Without Shame Ltd, such as workbooks, self-hypnosis audios, and other resources (the “Products”), are for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not distribute, share, resell, or reproduce these materials in any form without prior written consent from Stories Without Shame Ltd. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Products solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

36. All Products are the intellectual property of Stories Without Shame Ltd and are protected under UK Copyright Law. By purchasing or downloading these Products, you acknowledge and agree that you will not infringe upon Stories Without Shame Ltd’s copyright or intellectual property rights. Any unauthorized use of the Products, including reproduction, distribution, or resale, is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

37. Upon successful payment (for paid products), you will receive an email containing a link to download the Product(s). This link will be delivered to the email address you provide at checkout. It is your responsibility to ensure that your email address is correct and that you check your inbox and spam folder. You will need to provide your name and email address to receive the Product(s) and acknowledge that your data will be handled in compliance with GDPR as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

38. All payments for digital products will be processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. Stories Without Shame Ltd does not store or have access to your payment information. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe’s terms and conditions and privacy policy.

39. Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final. Once the download link has been sent, no refunds or cancellations will be provided. If you experience any issues accessing the Product(s), please contact us at [email protected] and we will assist you in resolving the issue.

40. Stories Without Shame Ltd makes no guarantees about the effectiveness of the Products for any specific individual or situation. Coaching and hypnotherapy techniques are intended for self-improvement, but results may vary. The Products are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or other professional advice. If you are experiencing any health issues, please consult a qualified professional.

41. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stories Without Shame Ltd shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, arising from the use of or inability to use the Products.

Business to Consumer Workshops

42. The following terms and conditions apply to all persons or other entities (“you”) that are attending any workshop (“Workshop”) organised by Stories Without Shame Ltd (“we” or “us”). Please ensure you have read and understand the following:

a.     Acceptance of terms and conditions

By completing the registration form for a particular workshop, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below (“Terms”) and they will be incorporated into the contract between us (“Contract”). The Contract is formed when we send you a booking confirmation.

b.    Payment

The fee for attending the Workshop (“Registration Fee”) will be as stated on the registration form from for the relevant Workshop from time to time. Prices are inclusive of VAT except where expressly stated otherwise. All payments for the Registration Fee must be made in full at the time of completing the registration form and in any event prior to the date of the Workshop. If payment is not received within 7 days of your registration, your registration will be cancelled, and the payment of any refund will be at our complete discretion. Payment will be made via our merchant account provider and you consent to us passing your necessary details to the merchant account provider and to them processing necessary information about you. We reserve the right to run price promotions as we think fit.

c.     Refunds

All tickets for the Workshop shall be non-refundable except as set out in paragraphs d and e below. However, if you are unable to attend the Workshop for any reason you may email us at [email protected] to provide us with the name of a substitute to attend the Workshop on your behalf and on receipt of this email we shall make such substitution and allow the substitute access to the Workshop. We may at our discretion charge an administration fee of up to £5 for making such substitution.

d.    Cancellation

If you are purchasing as a consumer, that is you are purchasing for purposes wholly or mainly outside of a trade, profession, craft or business, the following applies:

As this workshop falls under the category of services related to leisure activities and there is a specific date or period of performance, the cooling off period does not apply and as such you may not cancel the contract and we shall not be obliged to provide any refunds.

There may be circumstances in which we need to cancel the Workshop. In such circumstances, we will provide you with a full refund of the amount of the Registration Fee that you have paid to us and we will make very effort to provide you with such refund within 60 days of the date of cancellation.

e.     Postponement or change to venue

There may be circumstances in which we need to postpone the Workshop or change the venue at which Workshop is to be held and if we do, we shall advise you of this as soon as we possibly can. If the postponement is for more than 6 months after the publicised date of the Workshop or the replacement venue is more than 50 miles away from the publicised venue, you may cancel your ticket by emailing us at [email protected] and we shall provide you with a full refund.

f.      Liability

Our sole liability in relation to any cancellation, postponement or change of venue shall be limited to the price paid by you for such Workshop and we shall not be liable under any circumstances for any consequential losses.

g.     Your obligations

Participants are encouraged to respect the privacy of others by not sharing personal stories, comments, or identities outside of the workshop.

If you act in any way which in our opinion is likely to cause any harm or nuisance to any person at the Workshop, you will be required to leave the Workshop and we shall not be liable to refund your Registration Fee or any other payment.

You must comply at all times with the health and safety policy of the venue. You must comply with all requests from us or the venue with regard to health and safety and failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the workshop (in which case no refund will be provided). You may not bring any equipment or items of a hazardous or dangerous nature to the Workshop.

You shall not cause any damage to any part of the venue (including outside areas, and all inside walls, flooring, fixtures and fittings). You are solely liable for any damage caused by you, your employees, contractors, sub-contractors and agents to any such area of the venue and shall fully reimburse us in relation to any damage so caused.

You must keep your personal belongings with you at all times and we accept no liability for any damage to, loss of or theft of any of your belongings or other items brought to the Workshop by you.

h.    Promotional materials and materials at the Workshop

We shall not be liable for errors or omissions contained in any promotional materials or other materials used at the Workshop (including names and other contact details of participants who have consented to be named in such materials).

Unless otherwise stated, the copyright for any such promotional materials and any materials used at the Workshop (including course notes, slides, brochures, articles and case studies) belongs to us and may not be reproduced in any medium without our prior written consent.

You may use such materials for your own individual purposes only and may not share, disclose, reproduce, publish or deal with such materials in any way, including for any commercial use.

We reserve the right to change the published programme (including the publicised speakers) or materials as we think fit.

i.      Photography and filming

We may wish to photograph or film the Workshop and reserve the right to do so for the purposes of promoting future workshops or otherwise. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please make this known to us before the start of the Workshop and we may require that you sit in a separate section of the room or if the workshop is online, you can turn your camera off. You may take photographs (but not film) of the Workshop.

j.      Data protection

We will communicate with you using the contact details provided on the Registration Form for the purposes of the Workshop. We will use and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice that you can view here.

k.     Tickets

We shall not send you tickets for the workshop. We will have your name on the attendee list and if you have paid the Registration Fee you shall be provided with access to the Workshop.

l.      Travel, accommodation and refreshments

You shall be responsible for making and paying for your own travel and accommodation arrangements to and from the Workshop. If you are late at the workshop or prevented from attending the Workshop due to travel delays or any other circumstances, we shall not be obliged to provide you with a refund or to wait to start the Workshop until you arrive. Refreshments shall be provided as set out on our website: drconniekerali.com.

m.   Disability, medical conditions and dietary requirements

The workshop is designed for personal growth, education, and self-reflection. It is not intended as, nor should it replace, medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment. If you are experiencing significant distress, trauma, or mental health challenges, please seek appropriate support from a licensed healthcare professional.

If you have any disability or medical condition that requires us to make special arrangements for you or any special dietary requirements, please email us at [email protected] as soon as possible and in any workshop at least 2 weeks prior to the date of the Workshop.

n.    Limitations of Liability

Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken by us to ensure security and safety at the workshop, we shall not in any way be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you whatsoever in relation to the Workshop, save that nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to limit the liability of any person for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, any fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability for which it is unlawful to exclude or limit liability.

Our total liability for any matter arising out of the Contract shall in all circumstances be limited to the price paid by you for the Workshop and we shall not in any circumstances be liable to you for any consequential loss whatsoever.

o.    Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by English Law and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

 

Business to Business Workshops

43. The following terms and conditions apply to any workshops or a series of workshops (“Workshop”) organised or provided by Stories Without Shame Limited (“we” or “us”). Please ensure you have read and understand the following:

a.     Acceptance of terms and conditions

By accepting our proposal or quotation for a Workshop (whether orally or in writing), you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out below (“Terms”) and they will be incorporated into the contract between us (“Contract”) in priority to any other competing terms or industry practice. You will ensure that your employees, partners, agents, contractors, subcontractors and any other person attending the Workshop on your behalf shall comply with these Terms. The Contract is formed when we send you a booking confirmation.

b.    Payment

The fee for attending the Workshop (“Workshop Fee”) will be as stated on the proposal, quotation or invoice for the relevant Workshop. Prices are exclusive of VAT except where expressly stated otherwise. All payments for the Workshop Fee must be made in full within 7 days of us sending you a booking confirmation and in any event at least 7 days prior to the date of the Workshop. If full payment is not received within 7 days of us sending you a booking confirmation, your order will be cancelled and the payment of any refund of any amounts already paid to us will be at our complete discretion. You will remain liable to pay us the full amount for the Workshop as we will have held the space in our diary, turning down other opportunities and have spent time preparing for the Workshop.  Payment will be made as specified on our invoice. 

You shall reimburse us for all travel, accommodation and other subsistence costs and all other expenses incurred by us in providing the Workshop, subject to us providing you with valid receipts and/or mileage claims. Mileage shall be reimbursed at 45p per mile. Airplane travel over 4 hours shall be business class. Train travel shall be business class.

c.     Refunds

All orders for the Workshop shall be non-refundable except as set out in paragraphs d and e below. If you are paying on a per head basis and a named employee is unable to attend, you may email us at [email protected] to provide us with the name of a substitute to attend the Workshop on their behalf and on receipt of this email we shall make such substitution and allow the substitute access to the Workshop. We may at our discretion charge an administration fee of up to £100 for making such substitution.

d.    Cancellation

There may be circumstances in which we need to cancel the Workshop. In such circumstances, we will provide you with a full refund of the amount of the Workshop Fee that you have paid to us at such point and we will make every effort to provide you with such refund within 30 days of the date of cancellation. We shall have no liability other than to refund as aforementioned in relation to any such cancellation.

e.     Postponement or change to venue

There may be circumstances in which we need to postpone the Workshop or change the venue at which Workshop is to be held and if we do, we shall advise you of this as soon as we possibly can. If the postponement is for more than 3 months after the publicised date of the Workshop or the replacement venue is more than 25 miles away from the publicised venue, you may cancel your order by emailing us at [email protected] and we shall provide you with a full refund of the amount you have already paid to us in relation to such Workshop.

f.      Liability

Our sole liability in relation to any cancellation, postponement or change of venue shall be limited to the amount already paid by you for such Workshop. We shall not be liable under any circumstances for any consequential losses of any type whatsoever.

If we make any recommendations of or reference to any third party goods or services during the Workshop we make no warranty or representation as to the quality or suitability of purpose and accept no liability if a participant chooses to enter into a contract with any such third parties.

g.     Your obligations

If any of the participants in the Workshop act in any way which in our opinion is likely to cause any harm, nuisance or concern to any person at the Workshop, they will be required to leave the Workshop and we shall not be liable to refund any or all of your Workshop Fee or any other payment.

Where the Workshop is held at your venue, you agree to procure that all facilities reasonably requested by us are available at the requested time and date and you acknowledge that if such facilities are not provided adequately by the requested time and date we may be unable to provide the Workshop in which case the amount payable for the Workshop shall remain due and payable. You further agree to ensure that your venue complies with all Health & Safety legislation and any other applicable laws and regulations and shall indemnify us in relation to any liability that we suffer as a result of you breaching this clause.

You must ensure that each participant:

·      complies at all times with the health and safety policy of the venue;

·      complies with all requests from us or the venue with regard to health and safety;

·      does not bring any equipment or items of a hazardous or dangerous nature to the Workshop; and

·      does not cause any damage to any part of the venue (including outside areas, and all inside walls, flooring, fixtures and fittings);

·      keeps their personal belongings with them at all times.

and you understand that if any participant does not do so, they will be asked to leave the Workshop and we shall not be liable to refund any or all of your Workshop Fee or any other payment.

You are solely liable for any damage caused by you, your employees, contractors, sub-contractors and agents to any part of the venue and shall fully reimburse us in relation to any damage so caused.

We accept no liability for any damage to, loss of or theft of any of the participant’s belongings or other items brought to the Workshop by them.

h.    Promotional materials and materials at the Workshop

We shall not be liable for errors or omissions contained in any promotional materials or other materials used at the Workshop (including names and other contact details of participants).

We reserve the right to change the published programme of the Workshop (including the publicised speakers) or materials as we think fit.

You agree that we may name you as a client and describe the Workshop as part of a case study for our marketing purposes.

i.      Intellectual Property Rights

We are the owner or the licensee of all Intellectual Property Rights and all other rights in the materials and content that we use within the Workshop (including course notes, slides, brochures, articles and case studies) and nothing in this agreement or otherwise shall operate to transfer the ownership of the Intellectual Property Rights in such material or content to you, to any participant or to any other person.

You shall not at any time (and shall ensure that each participant shall not) copy, reproduce, publish in any form, share, sell, dispose of or otherwise make available to a third party in any way any of the content or materials that we use in the Workshop.

We grant to you and each participant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sub licensable revocable licence to use all or any of the content or material used in the Workshop for the purposes for which the Workshop were provided only.

You shall not (and shall procure that each participant shall not) without our prior written consent make any audio or visual recordings of all or any part of the Workshop. We may from time to time make any audio or visual recordings of all or any part of the Workshop for any purpose. When using recordings other than internally, we shall ensure that no confidential information is disclosed. You warrant that you have obtained the consent of each participant to us filming and recording them during the Workshop and will let us know immediately if any participant withdraws such consent prior to them being filmed. You may take photographs (but not film) of the Workshop solely for internal purposes. 

If we have agreed to provide the Workshop based on a certain number or type of participants attending, you may not take the ideas, concepts, methodologies or content or materials shared in the Workshop and distribute them in any way outside of the number or type of participants who were booked to attend the Workshop. If any of the aforementioned is so distributed outside of such number of agreed participants, you acknowledge that this would be a breach of this licence and that further payment will be required to take into account the increased distribution.

j.      Data protection

We will communicate with the participants of the Workshop using the contact details provided by you for the purposes of the Workshop only. We will use and process their personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice that you can view at here.

k.     Travel, accommodation and refreshments

The participants of the Workshop shall be responsible for making and paying for their own travel and accommodation arrangements to and from the Workshop. If any participant is late to the Workshop or prevented from attending the Workshop due to travel delays or any other circumstances, we shall not be obliged to provide you with a refund or wait to start the Workshop until they arrive. Refreshments shall be provided as set out on our website drconniekerali.com.

l.      Disability, medical conditions and dietary requirements

If any participant has any disability or medical condition that requires us to make special arrangements for them or any special dietary requirements, please email us at [email protected] as soon as possible and in any event at least 7 days prior to the date of the Workshop.

m.   Limitations of Liability

Whilst every reasonable precaution is taken by us to ensure security and safety at the Workshop, we shall not in any way be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you or any participant whatsoever in relation to the Workshop.

Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, any fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability for which it is unlawful to exclude or limit liability.

Our total liability for any matter arising out of the Contract shall in all circumstances be limited to the price paid by you for the Workshop and we shall not in any circumstances be liable to you for any consequential loss whatsoever.

If we are prevented from or delayed in performing our obligations under these terms by your act or omission (or by any act or omission of any participant) or by any circumstance outside of our control, we shall not be liable to you for any costs, charges or losses sustained or incurred by you that arise directly or indirectly from such prevention or delay.

If any provision or part-provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it shall be deemed deleted, but that shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the rest of these terms.

n.    Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by English Law and your hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

The Storytellers Club Community Hub

44. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between you (“Member”, “you”) and Stories Without Shame Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) regarding your participation in the community. By joining, you agree to abide by these Terms.

a. Membership Overview

·       The Storytellers Club is a free online community hub providing live workshops, group events, digital resources, and community support focused on overcoming shame and building self-worth.

·       Access is for personal use only and may not be shared, transferred, or sold.

b. Membership Fees & Payments

·       Membership is free.

·       Fees are subject to change, but we will give at least 30 days’ notice of any increases.

c. Cancellations & Refunds

·       You may cancel your membership at any time via your account settings or by contacting us at [email protected].

d. Live Sessions & Events

·       Membership includes access to live workshops and community sessions.

·       For the safety and confidentiality of all members, we ask participants to attend with cameras on wherever possible.

·       If you cannot have your camera on (due to tech issues, childcare, etc.), you are still welcome to attend and participate in the way that feels safe for you.

·       We reserve the right to record certain sessions for training or replay purposes. If so, you will be notified in advance.

e. Community Guidelines

By joining the membership, you agree to:

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any member who breaches these guidelines.

f. Use of Content

·       Membership materials (videos, audios, workbooks, recordings, and written resources) are for your personal use only.

·       You may not reproduce, distribute, or share content without written permission.

·       All intellectual property remains the sole property of Stories Without Shame Ltd.

g. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

·       The membership provides coaching, hypnotherapy-informed tools, and peer support, but it is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or legal advice.

·       If you are experiencing a physical or mental health crisis, please seek professional help immediately.

·       We are not liable for any decisions, actions, or outcomes that result from your participation in the membership.

h. Privacy & Data Protection

·       We respect your privacy. Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

·       Confidentiality is expected of all members, but we cannot guarantee that all members will uphold it. Please share only what feels safe.

i. Termination of Membership

·       You may end your membership at any time.

·       We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these Terms.

j. Governing Law

·       These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.

·       Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

Dr Connie Kerali’s Liability to You

45.   Stories Without Shame Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage (in contract negligence or otherwise) where:

a.     there is no breach of a legal duty of care owed to you by me or;

b.     the loss or damage is not a reasonably foreseeable result of any such breach or;

c.     any loss or damage or increased risk of loss or damage results from a breach by a Client of these Terms and Conditions.      

46.   Stories Without Shame Ltd is not responsible for:

a.      loss or damage caused by you providing inaccurate or incomplete information;

b.     loss of your emotional well-being including, but not limited to, any embarrassment caused;

c.     loss of income or anticipated profits;

d.     loss of opportunity;

e.     loss of goodwill or injury to reputation;

f.      losses suffered by third parties; or

g.     any indirect, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from the use of the hypnotherapy services regardless of the form of action.      

47.   Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits Stories Without Shame Ltd’s liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.  

48.   Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights.

49.   I reserve the right to refuse to commence coaching and hypnotherapy services on any individual for any reason.  

Force Majeure

50.   Neither party shall be liable to the other for any failure to perform any obligation under any Agreement which is due to an event beyond the control of such party including but not limited to any Act of God, terrorism, war, Political insurgence, insurrection, riot, civil unrest, act of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood or any other natural or man-made eventuality outside of our control, which causes the termination of an agreement or contract entered into, nor which could have been reasonably foreseen.

51.    Any Party affected by such event shall forthwith inform the other party of the same and shall use all reasonable endeavours to comply with the terms and conditions of any agreement contained herein.    

Governing law

52.     These terms and conditions are subject to the laws of England and Wales and the parties hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
