Remarkable Women

Part I

Welcome to the Remarkable Women series where you can read posts on inspirational women who have shared their story with the world and no doubt changed the lives of other women for the better.

Casandra Fine

In November 2023, Casandra Fine, more commonly known as Cassie, shared her story of being trapped in a cycle of abuse and violence by her ex-partner, Sean "Diddy" Combs, for a decade. After courageously sharing her truth, some people chose not to believe her, and Mr Combs himself denied it until CCTV footage showed him attacking her.

In May 2024, Cassie released a statement thanking people for their support and she went on to write,

"𝘐 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘮𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘧𝘦𝘢𝘳. 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦, 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘤𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘰𝘧𝘧. 𝘕𝘰 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦."

In her no.1 New York Times bestseller, 𝙐𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙙, Glennon shares her story of self-discovery as she navigates divorce, creates a blended family, and takes charge of her life. In her must-read book, she writes,

"...𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘪𝘯 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐 𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦. 𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘦, 𝘯𝘦𝘸."
