Dr. Christine Blasey Ford

Dr. Christine Blasey Ford

Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, without knowing me, played a pivotal part in my healing journey by sharing her story. In September 2018, she testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee, informing them of how the now Supreme Court Justice, Brett Kavanaugh, sexually assaulted her when they were teenagers.

She began her testimony by saying, “I 𝘢𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦. 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘥. 𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘐 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘤𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘤 𝘥𝘶𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦…” 📸: Win McNamee
